Cooperation and collaboration
We can make real change where it counts most, in the day to day lives of local families and communities, through working together to grow the local economy and employment in sustainable ways for generations to come.
We will strive to build approaches to business and employment that include those often marginalised, such as Indigenous Australians, people with disability, women and girls, and at risk young people.
We will approach all projects in the knowledge that Indigenous Australia is diverse in its cultural make-up and protocols, values, experience, aspirations, needs and interests.
Respect for country and the environment
We will strive to ensure all Outback Academy supported projects consider the cultural and environmental impacts of business on country, and support the efforts of our business partners and Indigenous communities to protect those values.
